BadDrivingRecord.com Now Writing FR-44, SR-22 and High-Risk Auto Insurance in Florida

Oct 19, 2026

Agency founder Josh Morrison brings more than 17 years of FR-44 and SR-22 experience to Florida drivers from the agency's Wilton Manors office.

Fort Lauderdale, Florida, October 19, 2026 -- BadDrivingRecord.com is now writing FR-44, SR-22 and high-risk auto insurance for drivers in Florida. The agency serves Florida drivers from its office at 1650 NE 26th St #207 in Wilton Manors and California drivers from its office in Cathedral City.

The agency was founded by Joshua "Josh" Morrison, who has spent more than 17 years specializing in FR-44, SR-22 and high-risk auto insurance. Florida drivers usually need this kind of coverage after a DUI, a license suspension, too many points on their record or a lapse in insurance, and it is often the hardest coverage to find. BadDrivingRecord.com has contracts with several major insurance carriers that write FR-44 and SR-22 policies in Florida, so drivers can compare more than one quote instead of taking the first offer they get.

"Drivers who need an FR-44 or SR-22 often have questions about both their coverage and their filing. Our work brings those two needs together," said Joshua Morrison, founder of BadDrivingRecord.com.

Florida requires an FR-44 for many drivers convicted of DUI. Under section 324.023 of the Florida Statutes, Florida FR-44 insurance carries liability limits of 100/300/50, which means $100,000 for injury to one person, $300,000 per accident and $50,000 for property damage, well above what a standard Florida policy carries.

An SR-22 covers most other suspensions, such as driving without insurance or building up too many points. With Florida SR-22 insurance, as with an FR-44, the insurance company files the certificate with the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV), and the policy has to stay active for the entire filing period. BadDrivingRecord.com also writes non-owner SR-22 and FR-44 policies for drivers who need a filing to get their license back but don't own a car.

Josh has been writing about Florida's filing rules online since 2012, when he launched FloridaFR44Insurance.net. He added FloridaSR22Insurance.com in 2013 and FloridaHighRiskAutoInsurance.com in 2014. Those sites now redirect to BadDrivingRecord.com, where their guides remain available.

Quotes for Florida drivers are available through BadDrivingRecord.com.
