Las Vegas Saxophonist and Author Jimmy Mulidore to Sign Copies of “The Vegas Player” at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2026

Oct 23, 2026

Jimmy Mulidore joins the world’s largest publishing event to share stories of Sinatra, Elvis, and the mob-era strip during his time as a saxophonist and clarinetist. The longtime Las Vegas musical director will be stationed at The Maple Staple Booth on October 9-10 2026.

Canada, October 23, 2026 -- Bookside Press has today announced that saxophonist, clarinetist, and author Jimmy Mulidore will attend the Frankfurt Book Fair 2026, which will take place from October 7-11, 2026. Mulidore will attend and host a live book signing of his autobiography “The Vegas Player: Celebrities, Sex, Drugs, and Mafia” on October 9-10 at The Maple Staple Booth, Hall 5.1, Stand D86, located at Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage 1, 60327 Frankfurt am Main.

“The Vegas Player” explores Mulidore’s life as a saxophonist and clarinetist navigating Las Vegas during its mob-era strip. The autobiography details the improbable journey of his saxophone taking him from a working-class Italian neighborhood in Youngstown, Ohio, to center stage in Las Vegas, where he got to play beside his mentor James Moody and witness Las Vegas in the 50s, 60s, and 70s. In the book, Mulidore recounts his arrival in Vegas at 19, sharing the stage with Red Norvo, Sinatra, Streisand, and Nat King Cole. He also proudly shares details on his flute solo on Elvis Presley’s “American Trilogy.”

During his time in Vegas, Mulidore served as a musical director for the Hilton and Flamingo Hotels. He conducted for stars including Louis Armstrong, Ann-Margaret, Gladys Knight, and Olivia Newton-John. Along the way, his mentor and his impeccable style helped guide his career, placing him in an orchestra seat during one of the most colorful eras in American entertainment.

Following the announcement of his upcoming appearance at the Frankfurter Buchmesse, Mulidore has expressed his excitement, saying that he looks forward to meeting readers and sharing the stories that came together to become his autobiography. “I didn’t just witness Las Vegas happen, I lived and breathed it,” says Mulidore. “This book is everything I saw from behind my instruments. The music, the stars, the danger, and my earning the name Maestro. I’m excited to meet readers in Frankfurt and I look forward to sharing my Vegas exploits with them.”

Attendees of the upcoming book fair are invited to meet Mulidore in person, hear firsthand accounts from his decades in Las Vegas, and have their copies of “The Vegas Player” signed. The book is available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and on Mulidore’s official website.
