Guntur, Andhra Pradesh Nov 4, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - "Air Indo Airlines" Targets May 2027 Launch from Andhra Pradesh with 390 Crore Plan.

Air Indo Airlines Tech Private Limited is preparing to launch regional air services from Andhra Pradesh. The proposed network aims to make it easier for passengers to travel between regional cities for business, tourism, education, pilgrimage and family visits.

The company is prioritising the Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada-Hyderabad-Goa-Varanasi-Ayodhya-Tirupathi-Shiridi connection and is also evaluating services between Hyderabad and Bhopal.

"Vijayawada-Goa" flights proposed four times a day, five days a week

Air Indo proposes operating four flights per day, five days a week, on the Vijayawada-Goa route. The service is intended to make leisure and business travel between Andhra Pradesh and Goa more convenient.

"Planned services to Ayodhya, Shirdi and Tirupati"

The company is planning flights from Visakhapatnam to Ayodhya via Varanasi, as well as services from Vijayawada to Shirdi and Vijayawada to Tirupati. Air Indo expects these connections to make it easier for pilgrims to visit Kashi Vishwanath in Varanasi, Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the Sai Baba temple in Shirdi and the Sri Venkateswara temple in Tirumala.

"Five ATR 72-600 aircraft planned"

Air Indo plans to lease five ATR 72-600 aircraft for its regional network. Under the proposed fleet plan, four aircraft would operate scheduled services, while the fifth would serve as a reserve during maintenance or service disruptions. The fleet plan is subject to lease agreements, technical inspections and required approvals.

The company has outlined a 390 crore plan for commercial operations, covering aircraft leasing and maintenance, staffing, training, airport services, technology systems and day-to-day operations.

Air Indo also aims to create employment and aviation training opportunities for young people in Andhra Pradesh and generate business for local service providers. The company intends to bring regional hospitality to its onboard service and provide passengers with clear information throughout their journey.

Air Indo is targeting May 2027 for the start of commercial flights. The company is in the initial preparation and certification stages. The launch and final schedule are subject to approvals from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and other relevant authorities, aircraft availability and operational readiness.
