Calgary, Canada - November 4, 2021 /PressCable/ —
For over 100 years, Breslauer & Warren have been Calgary, Alberta’s number one jewellers. The company is expanding its line of innovative, International Gemological Institute (IGI) and Gemological Institute of America (GIA) certified lab-grown diamonds and jewellery pieces to offer their clients options that are identical to mined diamonds, and identically graded as well, at 30 – 40% less cost.

Today’s conscientious consumers are more apt to research the products they want to invest in to ensure their choices align with their values. Lab-grown diamonds fill this consumer need. With the new line of lab-created diamond pieces, this local jewellery is offering Calgarians the range of choice they expect and a high-quality, no-conflict product they want.
Lab-grown diamonds are identical to mined diamonds in chemical, physical and optical properties. Customers can now create their one-of-a-kind jewellery pieces from this class of diamond at a third of the price mined diamonds yield, despite their being indistinguishable in makeup or quality.

Diamonds created in labs are generated from slices of carbon known as diamond seeds. These seeds are placed in a low-pressure chamber where hydrogen and methane gases are injected, and high-powered microwave energy is applied. Within four to six weeks a sizeable diamond is produced and can be cut and polished in the same way mined diamonds are treated.
Although they retail for significantly less than mined diamonds, the equipment used to create them costs tens of thousands of dollars. The process is the most advanced manufacturing operation achieved by mankind and requires extreme precision.
Breslauer & Warren carry locally sourced, lab-grown diamonds that come in round, princess, cushion, oval, pear, and emerald cuts. Clients can design their own engagement rings and other jewellery pieces, or choose from bracelets, pendants, earrings, and wedding rings on display in the store. The company also carries a full line of mined diamonds and jewellery pieces, and can create a custom piece from either material in approximately three weeks.
With the expansion of their traditional line of jewellery to include a wider range of lab-grown diamond options, Calgary’s Breslauer & Warren are staying true to their customer-oriented values, ensuring every client will find the right ring, pendant, bracelet or earrings to suit both their budget and their personal preferences.
