New York City, New York Oct 12, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - A board-certified internist, Dr. Mumtaz has been serving as an internist since March 2021 in Jacksonville, Florida. She is currently a rheumatology fellow at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, since July 2023.
Her journey in medicine began when she earned her Bachelor of Medicine and bachelor of Surgery Degree from The Aga Khan University in Pakistan in 2014. Dr. Mumtaz subsequently completed her internship in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas in 2018.
Continuing her medical education and training, she pursued a residency in internal medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, Fresno from 2018 to 2020. Following her residency, Dr. Mumtaz worked as a hospitalist at St. Vincent's Health System from 2021 to 2023.

Demonstrating her commitment to providing advanced care to her patients, Dr. Mumtaz is also certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) by the American Heart Association.
