The latest launch offers a painless and non-invasive procedure to address the signs of aging and improve the health of one's complexion. The center's Cryoskin facials are delivered by resident therapist and licensed cosmetologist Bailey McDaniel.

The updated services harness the therapeutic effects of concentrated liquid nitrogen to improve microcirculation. The intensely cold temperature of the nitrogen results in the contracting of blood vessels and the tightening of the pores. Increases in blood flow and oxygen refresh one's appearance and stimulate the production of collagen.

Cryotherapy effectively causes the skin to freeze, blister, and eventually peel off to reveal a fresh, new layer beneath. The treatment is delivered via a special device that resembles an ultrasound wand. The procedure only takes around 20 minutes with the center recommending at least five sessions for clients under 45 and 10 for older customers.

Unlike peels or microdermabrasion, cryofacial treatments do not leave the skin looking raw or red. As a result, once the procedure is complete, clients can go about their day as normal. It is common to experience some tingling as a result of the extremely cold nitrogen but any side effects beyond that are extremely rare.

A recent study by the Journal of Investigative Dermatology suggests that cryotherapy may reduce the production of sebum which, along with dead skin cells, blocks the pores and can lead to acne. Gentle Wellness Center's cryofacial services can reduce the appearance of swelling in the face due to the rush of blood and oxygen that the treatment induces.

In addition to its cold therapy solutions, the center also provides infrared sauna sessions, IV therapy, high-dose vitamin C infusions, micro-needling, Morpheus8, and bio-identical hormone replacement therapy.
