Fort Lauderdale FL - November 1, 2017 /MarketersMedia/ —
Florida Training Center and Nessely Florvilus are pleased to announce that the center now offers excellent home health aide training to area residents. Home health aides are in huge demand as the healthcare industry continues to grow to meet the demands of an aging population. Many more people need support with basic home health care as families choose to care for their loved ones at home as an alternative to nursing facilities.
Nessely Florvilus spoke in a recent interview, "If you have been considering becoming a home health aide, there has never been a better time. Anyone with interest in healthcare and the compassion and patience to help others can become a home health aide. This entry-level career is perfect for new job seekers and career-changers looking for a flexible, part-time or full-time job. The home health training requires only two weeks of classes, and no high school diploma is necessary."
He continues, "There are lots of jobs available immediately upon completion of the hands-on training with certified instructors. While we are not an HHA agency, we work with many agencies to help students be placed in jobs, immediately upon graduation. Classes begin each Monday. Home health aides are paid as much as fifteen dollars per hour. The courses include CPR training as part of the curriculum. Aides usually work for home health agencies or get private cases with families. The professional aides help with important personal tasks such as dressing, bathing and a variety of hygiene needs."
Home health aides do not have to pass a state examination as CNAs (certified nursing aides). HHAs usually work in homes as caregivers or private jobs. CNAs have a broader range of jobs available to them, such as in private homes, in hospitals, nursing homes, retirement homes and assisted living facilities.
