Arizona, Phoenix - September 14, 2020 /MarketersMedia/ —

The Phoenix-based Liberty Industrial Group Inc., (LIG) is a specialty contractor for commercial and industrial scaffolding services in 40 states. They engaged HokuApps LLC. to build an optimal solution for the full range of their scaffolding and insulation project management requirements.

The Liberty Industrial Group dispatch’s full-service teams, for executing commercial and industrial scaffolding services, industrial insulation, painting and coating services and safety watch. They provide general labor for capital projects, outages, turnarounds, maintenance and new construction. They specialize in the management of projects that require commercial and industrial scaffolding, shoring, and access services.

The U.S. Construction industry creates $1.3 trillion worth of structures every year. The induction of this app will provide Liberty Industrial Group, with tremendous leverage to tap into this market. It will enable them to speedily execute multiple projects simultaneously, thus providing real-time inventory management of materials that in turn enable better teamwork and collaboration.

HokuApps built a custom solution for Liberty Industrial Group and its clients. Projects and scaffolds are actively managed and tracked via their portal and mobile apps. The solution maintains an inventory of materials used for scaffolding and provides real-time tracking of parts available at the storehouse and various yards. Warehouse managers can carry out material transfers effectively across multiple yards and store-houses.

The mobile apps allow clients to request for new scaffolds for their existing projects. Liberty Group’s staff can carry out inspection checks of these scaffolds via the apps. Safety-related functions are also built into the app, to ensure that safety protocols are followed. Employee safety audits, job Safety checks and truck Inspections can also be carried out periodically via the apps.

Task time tracking features are provided in the app to record and track hours utilized for erecting, modifying and dismantling a scaffold. The solution is actively used to generate and print productivity reports, track material and man-hours and keep key performance indicators like utilization percentage, in check.

Said, Robert Prinz, Executive Vice President, Liberty Industrial Group, “We wanted an app that would help maintain the inventory level of material required and enable real-time tracking of the availability of parts at an individual storehouse and also across yards. Earlier, we were using an app built by some other vendor, but the performance was not satisfactory. None of the team members were comfortable using it. We were, therefore, very particular about our expectations from the solution we wanted to build when we approached HokuApps. I am happy to say that HokuApps developed and deployed exactly what we needed.”

He further added, that “This app has made us more efficient across all business workflows. It has enabled us to cater, not only to project demands but also to seamlessly track other aspects of a project, from work order management, resource capacity planning, inventory transfers and management.”

“It was a great experience building a cross-platform application that would enable the Liberty Industrial Group to manage all of their warehouse inventory movement, irrespective of whether these pertained to a single yard or multiple yards spread across multiple locations. It seamlessly enables monitoring of their scaffold installing processes, all via a single platform. Our solution worked well with them as it enabled task automation and remote communication causing a paradigm shift in their ability to augment their centralized project management capabilities.” Said Nand Kapoor, Director, HokuApps LLC.
