The AOBIM is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease in adults.
Furthermore, she is board-certified in sleep medicine by the American Board of Sleep Medicine, a nonprofit organization that certifies physicians, PhDs, specialists, and technologists in the specialty of sleep medicine.
Dr. Whims-Squires has been an advocate for sleep education through her lecturing even internationally for physicians, technologists, and the public. She is affiliated with Mease Countryside Hospital, Mease Dunedin Hospital, Morton Plant Hospital, Morton Plant North Bay Hospital, and Largo Medical Center.
