When people were advised to stay in their homes, doctors were constantly catering to the increasing numbers, pharmacists were out there delivering medicines to the ones in need. This meant lesser people went out to buy medicines and hence, the lesser scope of the spread of the virus. In their own selfless way, they ensured their bit in minimising the burden of healthcare systems supporting them constantly and slashing the effect of the pandemic. Today we are featuring one such pharmacy, that's one of the oldest and finest pharmacies in Northeast India - Deys Pharmacy. It carries a legacy of serving people since 1958. They have been working restlessly since lockdown and with the second wave during curfew hours as well.
