Steel, who has had a passion for rap since he was little, is on track to make headway in the music scene with impressive collaborations with famous artists and a creative take on rap music.
United States - August 30, 2023 —

Rap artist Reggy Steel is slowly but surely making rappers reassess their game plans as he continues to carve out his own name in the music scene.
Steel, however, is not a newcomer in the business. He's done songs and worked with famous artists such as Hell Rell from Dipset, Bone the Mack, Omillio Sparks, and more.
Born in Newport News, Virginia, in 1982, Steel grew up listening to hip-hop and was heavily influenced by it. He says, "I started rapping when I was a teenager in high school then started taking it seriously in my early 20s."
"My music is about the things in life I've been through, the street life growing up in a rough area, and my faith in Jesus," says Steel, who views rap as a positive influence on Black youth.
With a goal of inspiring people through rap, Steel sees his music as an antidote to emotional challenges for those around him. For him, rap serves as an outlet for both consumers and artists to better understand the hurdles of growing up within the confines of complex city life.
"I love music, and my goal is to inspire people to chase after their dreams," said Steel, who hopes to further elevate his music and concentrate on his genre.
Steel's music videos, including "Who DA G.O.A.T.," "Neva Lose," and "Day One," are a testament to his own story and struggle. Another video titled "Return of the Servant" showcases his relationship with God and how he's survived all of life's struggles through passion, perseverance, and faith.
