Detroit, Michigan, United States - July 28, 2023 /MarketersMEDIA/ —

Local homeschooled teen author, Aaralynn Karman (15), is set to release her first novel, a YA Fantasy titled “Meeting Twilight”, in September. Dreaming of being an author from an even earlier age, Aaralynn Karman's journey as an author began during the Covid-19 shutdown when she embraced homeschooling as a 7th grader. This decision not only allowed her to continue her education but also provided her with valuable time to nurture her passion for writing. By exploring various writing classes, not typically offered in traditional school settings, Aaralynn honed her craft, setting the stage for the creation of "Meeting Twilight."

Following her imagination, Aaralynn began drafting the story in January of 2022. The process took nearly a month for the first draft, but since then she has spent countless hours getting her book ready for readers, whether it was edits, talking with beta-readers, or creating artwork related to the world she was building. Throughout the past year, Aaralynn has become a source of inspiration for fellow teen authors, encouraging them to persevere and believe in their abilities to finish their own novels and works. Additionally, Aaralynn has built a supportive community on Instagram, uniting indie and traditionally published authors who uplift and encourage one another. Her dedication to her writing has garnered praise from editors and beta readers alike, further fueling her determination to succeed.

Early readers have praised "Meeting Twilight," describing it as a thrilling fusion of Percy Jackson's adventurous spirit and the enchanting world-building found in Harry Potter. The book introduces readers to a captivating magical world filled with action, mystery, and heartfelt emotions.

Shannon, a professional proofreader, commented, "First and foremost, you can write. This is better than what many adult writers have sent my way."

Editor Cheyenne Nielsen raved, "Meeting Twilight is absolutely a book that will cause you to become a book dragon and devour it all."

Early Reader reviews also spoke highly of the book's endearing characters and friendships.

The highly-anticipated cover reveal for "Meeting Twilight," along with the opening of pre-orders, is scheduled for August 1st, 2023. Fans have already expressed their eagerness to secure their copy in advance. However, as a special treat for her loyal newsletter subscribers, Aaralynn granted them an exclusive first look on Tuesday, July 25th.

The cover reveal has been generating immense excitement among fans and followers, with Aaralynn teasing the final image through an intriguing puzzle on her social media accounts. Fans can follow the puzzle journey on Instagram @aaralynnkarman.writes and Facebook at /official.thegreatdivinerseries. Additionally, as a thank-you to her dedicated newsletter subscribers, Aaralynn is offering a complimentary copy of the prologue from "Meeting Twilight" on her website, aaralynnkarman.com.

A multi-talented individual, Aaralynn not only excels in writing but has also showcased her artistic abilities by illustrating and writing a children's book in just two months for a Creative Writing Class at her homeschool co-op. The book, “Fun Guy the Mushroom Man” is expected to also be published later this year. Meeting Twilight fans will be delighted to know that Aaralynn has already penned Book 2 of The Great Diviner Series, which is currently undergoing the editing phase and is anticipated for late 2024 or early 2025.

"Meeting Twilight," the first installment of The Great Diviner Series, is set to finally debut on September 12th, 2023. It will be available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and other online retailers. To celebrate the release of "Meeting Twilight," Aaralynn is currently planning an exciting Release Party for later in September. Furthermore, book signings will be available throughout the year at various locations to be announced soon.

Readers and fans of fantasy adventures will not want to miss "Meeting Twilight," an enthralling tale of friendship, adventure, and hidden truths. Embark on an extraordinary journey into the world of magic with Aria Chesler as she discovers newfound powers, uncovers other realms, and experiences thrilling action intertwined with mystery and emotion.
